Deborah Donovan, M.A., CAGS
Deborah Donovan, one of the leaders in the field of Daily Life Therapy, has been the principal of Boston Higashi School for the past 13 years. Prior to that, she was a public school principal and educator for 20 years. In addition to being a mother, she’s worked as a special education administrator, special education teacher, reading specialist, and elementary classroom teacher. Bringing a unique approach to developing the culture of the school, she personally strives to improve the life of every child she works with through her leadership on curriculum, instruction, assessment, student services and more. One of her main specialties is utilizing and implementing Daily Life Therapy. Daily Life Therapy is a holistic approach based on the three pillars of Physical Stamina Building, Emotional Stability, and Intellectual Stimulation. As a leader in the field and through her work in education, she has and continues to impact thousands of young adults' lives.
