Linda Kreger Silverman, PhD, is a licensed clinical and counseling psychologist who specializes in assessing muti-exceptional children. She founded and directs the Institute for the Study of Advanced Development (ISAD), and its subsidiary, Gifted Development Center (GDC) [ www.gifteddevelopment.com ] in Westminster, Colorado. Over the last 47years, GDC has tested 6,600 children, mostly 2e. Linda holds a PhD in Special Education from USC and directed the Special Education Program at the University of Colorado. For 9years, she served on the faculty of the University of Denver, in counseling psychology and as the Coordinator of the gifted education program. She developed the concept of the visual-spatial learner.
