Never Say Never: A Story of Not Yet and the Amazing Lessons Learned from Steven

When is all of the therapy done? When has the individual achieved all of the possible goals and achieved all that they will achieve in life? Amy Jamison-Casas is a mom who sees development as a lifelong process- a series of "not yets" vs a "done and finished" viewpoint. This brief conversation just scratches the surface of a remarkable story of a mother who cannot wait to see what is next for her son Steven, a 31 year old man who is growing in leaps and bounds, hitting milestones this year that he started working on at age 3-4. She says it's never too late, and this conversation, guided by a series of pictures, tells a story about a boy learning to look at the world and appreciate it as a man, and a mother reflecting on the many gifts and lessons her son has given to enrich her life and her experience.
