Conference Surveys & CEUs: To obtain a Continuing Education Unit or Professional Development certificate, you MUST fill out a CEU Individual Session Evaluation Form for EACH session you attend. Attendees who choose to fill out paper versions of these forms will be able to pick up a hard copy of their certificate from the conference front desk. Attendees who choose to fill out online versions of these forms must also fill out the Conference Evaluation and CEU Certificate Request Form, which will be available online and will open at the end of the conference, before being emailed a certificate or picking up a CEU Certificate at the conference front desk. All forms must be completed and submitted by December 3, 2023. You can view the full conference policy on CEUs here. Opening Night Red Carpet Event: “An Open Door”
We’ll open this year’s conference with a private screening of the new documentary, An Open Door, featuring US Autism Association speaker Dr. Temple Grandin.
AN OPEN DOOR is the forthcoming documentary reflecting on the influential life and work of Dr. Temple Grandin as a champion of the humane treatment of livestock, autism rights and inclusive neurodiversity by employing her gifted insights from her personal experience with autism and visual thinking. The film speaks with Dr. Grandin, her colleagues, industry professionals and those she has influenced to celebrate her groundbreaking life, lessons learned and lasting legacy. AN OPEN DOOR is directed by award-winning filmmaker John Barnhardt and presented by Colorado State University.
