Dr. Partington has established and monitored clinical intervention services in Egypt, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia. He has recently begun to provide training to staff in Saudi Arabia, Moscow and Kazakhstan. One of his latest projects involves the integration of adults with autism into the workforce in Taiwan.

Currently, Dr. Partington is on the faculty of Consorzio Universitario Humanitas in Rome, and continues to provide training seminars, workshops, and publications to audiences across the world. His goal is to simplify the teaching process for parents, teachers, educators, and other professionals who teach or want to teach skills to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He has developed two parent-friendly, criterion-referenced assessments that are used by parents and professionals around the world to identify skills that children, adolescents and adults need to learn to reach their maximum potential. Watching Dr. Partington work with children is like magic coming to life. He has the ability to pinpoint important skills that need to be addressed and receive positive outcomes in a short amount of time.

Dr. Partington believes that parent participation is a must. Parents are the key teachers in a child’s life and they need to know what skills are important to teach as well as how to teach them. The parent needs to know what the child needs to learn and how to teach those skills. Dr. Partington’s expertise is teaching others how to work with children with autism, so that they feel confident in their skills and can make a difference in a child’s life.

Dr. Partington an emeritus member of the US Autism Association Advisory Board.
