After making her private journal public, Stephanie Hanrahan achieved viral success with her online community, Tinkles Her Pants, where she shares candid reflections on disability, motherhood, and the unexpected ways a different life can be beautiful. Her work has been featured on Today, CNN, The Daily Mail, Yahoo! News, and in her TEDx Talk, The Problem with Being Perfect. Her debut book, That’s Not Normal: On Expectations, Belonging, and the Freedom Found in a Different Life, will be published by Hachette in February 2027.
Stephanie is also the founder of The Pip, an educational platform serving families of all abilities.Her number-one bestselling curriculum, True Hues Color Wheel: An Activity to BetterUnderstand Autism, is used internationally by parents, providers, and educators to increaseawareness and support for neurodivergent individuals.
Stephanie resides in Dallas, Texas, with her husband, two children, and rescue pup, Nana. When she’s not watching reality TV and eating Taco Bell in bed, she can be found fighting for radical acceptance for anyone who has ever felt othered.
