The Heterogeneity of Autism: The Need to Consider Subtypes for Research

In this cutting-edge session, leading researcher (and mother of an autistic adult) Dr. Valerie Hu shares her life-long research on subtypes of autism. As one of the leading researchers on these topics, this session will certainly provide new insight and deeper understanding about autism for even the most well-versed in the field, while also giving those new to autism some useful explanations and insights about key differences that are present across the spectrum.
