In this fun and exciting episode of the Approaches to Autism Series, Rob Bernstein, Stephen Shore, and Marlo Thurman will be joined by Elaine Hall, who is a pioneer in the use of the dramatic arts to enhance the quality of life for individuals on the autism spectrum. In her work, Elaine founded the The Miracle Project, which is a fully inclusive theatre and film program that has been featured in the two-time Emmy award winning HBO film, Autism: The Musical. Elaine Hall is an internationally recognized thought-leader on autism and inclusion and is a pioneer in the use of the arts to enhance quality of life for individuals on the spectrum, creating original content and celebrating neurodiversity.  She is the founder of The Miracle Project, a fully inclusive theatre and film program, featured in the two-time Emmy winning HBO film, Autism: The Musical and she is co-founder of 1IN4 which is working in Hollywood to increase employment and authentic representation of neurodiverse and disabled people.  Elaine has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, and LA Times among others and has appeared on CNN, HBO, CBS News, Oprah Winfrey Network, and NPR. Most recently, she can be seen in the HBO film, Autism: The Sequel, as a life coach in the three-time Emmy Award winning Netflix show, Love on the Spectrum and in the critically acclaimed Amazon series, As We See It.
