BG Mancini is an Acupuncture Physician, a leader in Neurodevelopmental education and a Functional Medicine Practitioner. She has over 27 years of experience working with children and families, helping them increase their connection to themselves, each other, and the world around them by restoring safety to their nervous system, reducing inflammation, and using mobility to scaffold the brain with new neural pathways or proper pruning.

She helps to optimize outcomes for children facing challenges and helps them reach their full potential through proper therapy sequencing. She has been utilizing dietary changes as a primary tool for the past 27 years for families, children with an Autism diagnosis, as well as those with neurological and physical health challenges.

Her tools include hemispheric balance exercises, retained reflex integration, developmental vision, functional medicine testing, Polyvagal Theory, the Safe & Sound Protocol, nutrient deficiency analysis, and her own, Family Nervous System® for families.

The Family Nervous System® demonstrates that parents, while striving to ensure their children receive the help they need, often become less resourced themselves and less available for connection, which is at the core of healing. She works from the model that coregulation is the key to connection and that in order to achieve this, we must first be able to regulate ourselves as the adult nervous system in the family.
