For this reason, the US Autism Association relies heavily on its Advisory Board, a majority of whom are either parents of those diagnosed or diagnosed across the autism spectrum themselves.

Three years ago he accepted a position as the Principal of Horizon Alternative Junior and Senior High School in Evanston, Wyoming. In addition to his years of dedicated service in public school education, Bren is a published author and speaker.

Richard O. Williams, Ph.D.

Richard O. Williams spent 25 years in the medical sciences in academia, doing research and teaching around the word. He is the author of 85 peer-reviewed research articles on the molecular genetics and microbiology of infectious diseases. His interest in the world of autism started with his daughter, who was adopted in 1979 from Thailand at the age of two.
